In 2022, local Palencia residents purchased the rights and spaces previously associated with the Palencia Business Center who had been serving the community since 2012. The vision was to create an enhanced, clean, upscale and serene workspace for professionals to do focused work and enhance their productivity. As well, we believed that Share Space Coworking would be a central addition to the Palencia community and could support the growth we are experiencing in the surrounding areas – Downtown St. Augustine, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra Beach, Silverleaf, and World Golf Village.
We fully renovated the entire cowork space and the 12 private executive offices for rent. We also added a members-only cafe and a conference room to complement the workspace. The response from surrounding businesses was remarkable and Share Space Coworking filled up in just a few months. To keep up with the demand, we added three office pods to create a budget friendly option. With the addition of our office pods for rent, we were up to 15 private office spaces available for rent. We were thrilled to see the impact it was having in St. Augustine, as we accumulated over 75 private office and virtual office members. We found that our Share Space Coworking community was perfect for growing businesses, remote teams, freelancers, and consultants. At Share Space Coworking, our members include a broad range of professionals – accountants & financial advisors, architects & engineers, commercial service providers, creative agencies, insurance brokers, legal professionals, nonprofit organizations, real estate agents & brokers, and therapists & counselors. We were energized by the positive feedback from the broader St. Augustine community, and we decided to add even more workspace! In 2024, we partnered with a local colleague to further expand. We added 7 additional private office (and one office suite) for rent. We now have a total of 22 uniquely furnished high-end executive and private offices, a 300sqft upscale conference room, a training room and several meeting room options. At Share Space Coworking, we are owner-operators. As small business owners, we understand what our members need to help grow their businesses and we do our best to help them do productive and focused work. We also go a step beyond and help our businesses market themselves in the communities of Downtown St. Augustine, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra Beach, Silverleaf, and World Golf Village. For example, we help verify their business location with regulatory agencies, Google My Business and Apple Business Connect so they can serve the surrounding communities from our prestigious 701 Market Street address in St. Augustine, St. Johns County.
As a family-owned business, we care about every detail at Share Space Coworking. We are intimately involved in our business and see ourselves as hospitality providers. Our end goal is to provide members with a five-star luxury experience. We hope to see you soon!
